Jiji Railway information

The Jiji Line is the longest branch line in Taiwan's railway system, connecting Ershui Township in Changhua to Shuili Township in Nantou. Originally built for transporting materials for reservoir and water resource development, it has now become a highly popular tourist railway. The Jiji Line passes through pastoral landscapes, natural tree-lined paths, and small-town culture, making it a must-visit highlight for tourists.

[Jiji Line Partial Suspension Notice] Due to slope improvement construction, the section between Zhuoshui Station and Checheng Station is currently suspended, with operations expected to resume after December 31, 2025. Please refer to the Taiwan Railway Official Operation Announcements for the latest updates.
