Spring is in full bloom, making it the perfect time for flower viewing. This year's Hehuanshan Rhododendron Season is set to begin, attracting many visitors and tourists. To prevent traffic congestion on Provincial Highway 14A, which could dampen the enthusiasm for flower viewing, the Nantou Station of the Taichung District Supervision Office has coordinated with Nantou Bus Company to plan related transportation measures. The public is encouraged to use public transportation. From April 8 to June 11, additional shuttle services will be available on weekends (a total of 20 days) along the route from "Guomin Hotel - Meifeng - Cuifeng - Songxue Building - Xiaofengkou." Flower viewers are encouraged to make use of these services.
Huang Yongsong, director of Nantou Station, stated that considering the unfamiliar mountain road conditions and the potential fatigue from driving, additional shuttle bus services have been arranged with Nantou Bus Company during the Rhododendron season to improve the quality of travel. On weekends, in addition to the original six services of the "6658(A) Qingjing Farm - Hehuanshan" route, 12 additional services (a total of 18 services) will be provided based on reservations. Those interested in flower viewing can make reservations on the Nantou Holidays website. Reservations are accepted from seven days before departure until 12:00 PM every Friday. Priority will be given to those with reservations. Seats are limited for each service, so please book in advance and check in on time to avoid missing out. Visitors can take other highway (national highway) bus routes to the Puli Transfer Station and then transfer to the Nantou Bus "6658 Puli - Cuifeng," "6659 Puli - Songgang," or "6664 Puli - Qingjing Farm" routes to the Guomin Hotel station, and then transfer to the "6658(A) Qingjing Farm - Hehuanshan" route.
